Bring On Birmingham

Liverpool face Birmingham today with Steve Bruce’s side on their first trip to Anfield since making their return to the Premier League for 07/08. No word on the team yet but it’s a given that Xabi Alonso and Daniel Agger will both be missing, the duo also likely to miss the next 4-5 games.

It has been over 18 months since Liverpool last hosted Birmingham at Anfield, the game ending in a 1-1 draw, both goals coming from Liverpool. While a draw would maintain Liverpool’s unbeaten start to the season I reckon we’ll be seeing a Liverpool win today. Home soil, fired up after missing out on a win against Porto, Birmingham with one win out of three (two defeats) on the road this season.

Roll on 3pm, audio coverage on LiverpoolFC.tv if you’ve an e-season ticket.

Looking forward to putting the lacklustre peformance on Tuesday behind us. I’ve been tempted to get an e-season ticket (as I live abroad) but have shyed away from it because I don’t like spending money!

Would you recommend buying one or is it a bit of a rip off?

I enjoy the coverage - would rather there were more live video feeds of games - but I’m getting the use out of it almost every weekend so spread across the year I can justify the expense of it (around 70 euro or so).

I used to do the same for NFL radio access so am more than happy to take audio feeds - quality is great, plus the archives on the e-season ticket (interviews, goal videos, massive highlights) all make up for lack of live video.

    Cheers for the info.
Currently out in Germany so don’t get radio commentary so it could be an option. I can usually see most games live over here but today they are showing Arsenal Derby on German Sky (Premiere).

My interesting fact of the day (?!) We have won 13 games in a row against promoted opposition.
