Internationals Over, Back To Business For Liverpool (vs Portsmouth)

The Euro 2008 qualifiers are out of the way once again so its back to business today for Liverpool as the Reds take on Portsmouth in the lunchtime game at Fratton Park. Liverpool last met Portsmouth in the Asia Trophy with Portsmouth getting the upper hand on penalties. We’re currently top of the table with a game in hand over Chelsea (4th) and Man Utd (8th) so another three points and an away victory today would be more than welcome.

There’s no word on the team sheet yet this morning but I would expect both Jamie Carragher and Steven Gerrard to take part in the game, as would most Liverpool supporters.

I reckon Liverpool to win, 2-0 the scoreline.

About time we got back to proper action. I have a feeling Momo will be called up today, create some havoc in midfield.

Got something to say?
