Liverpool To Play Reading In League Cup

The draw for the third round of this year’s Carling Cup competition has been made and Liverpool open their trophy run against Reading. Turn the clock back to the same fixture last year and Liverpool ran out winners in a 4-3 victory at Anfield. This time around the game will be played at the Madejski Stadium with Tuesday September 25th pencilled in as the date. Hopefully this time around there’ll be more goals scored than conceded!
