Liverpool Vs South China FC Live

Hoping to bring you live blog updates from Liverpool vs South China FC in Hong Kong this afternoon as the Reds kick off their Asia Trophy (Barclays) around half one this afternoon our time.

Harry Kewell is included in the squad but won’t play given his recent tour of duty with Australia in Vietnam and we’ll have to wait until at least the Rotterdam tournament before we see Javier Mascherano in a red shirt for pre-season thanks to the Copa America.

I reckon we’ll see a combination of Torres and Crouch or Torres and Kuyt start up front, Torres well in line for a start after two appearances from the bench against Bremen and Auxerre. I’m also expecting Babel and Benayoun to start again on the wings with Jermaine Pennant also expected to feature.
