Delighted, But Surprised With Champions League Draw

I would have put money on us drawing an English side. Then I would have put more money on one English club drawing another English club. Then I would have lost each bet, and thats the surprise. Was full sure we’d get Chelsea or Man U, or one Premier League club would draw another seen as there’s three of the last eight in there but we’ve all been kept apart.

Of course, what happens now is if we beat PSV, we face Chelsea in the semi final and avoid Man United until the final - subject of course that Chelsea beat Valencia and United beat Roma followed by the winners of Bayern Munich vs AC Milan (tie of the round). Liverpool vs United in the final - hell, Liverpool vs Milan in the final? Jesus, there’s food for thought!

Full draw was as follows….

  • Bayern Munich vs AC Milan
  • PSV Eindhoven vs Liverpool
  • Roma vs Man United
  • Chelsea vs Valencia

The first leg takes place over April 3rd and 4th with the return legs one week later on April 10 / 11

Away again this weekend so few updates I’m afraid!

Can see Liverpool going past PSV, and loose to Chelsea in the semis. Chelsea will meet AC Milan in the final
