Crouch - “I Can Keep Scoring”
Peter Crouch has come out firing ahead of Sunday’s big game at Old Trafford and by the sounds of things, he’s more sure than ever that he can find the back of the net for Liverpool.
I’m enjoying it in front of goal and hopefully I can keep that going and keep scoring. I think if I’m given a run of games, then I’m sure I can keep scoring
Crouch hasn’t started too many games so far this season with Benitez preferring to opt for Kuyt and Bellamy up front, but when the big man has been on the field he has managed to score - including the game-winner against Bordeaux during the week.
Robbie Fowler seems to have been relegated to fourth striker but I’m still hopeful that we’ll see him against United at the weekend. Interesting remark though by Crouch who was quoted in the Mirror as saying
Hopefully there’s more to come from me and my partnership with Craig Bellamy, his pace is always an asset.
What about forming a partnership with Dirk Kuyt? Or can we expect that Bellamy is a given starter for the rest of the season and the other three strikers are working around him?
