Liverpool Land Premiership Clash In League Cup


Liverpool have been handed a Premier League clash in the third round of the League Cup as they host Reading at Anfield on either October 24th or October 25th.

Crewe Alexander, who topped Wigan during the week are in for their game of the season already as they’ve been gifted a home clash against Man United.

Other all-Premier League games include Newcastle against Portsmouth while Blackburn will host Chelsea at Ewood Park.

    […] Liverpool’s Carling Cup third round tie against Reading has been set for Wednesday October 25th with kickoff at 8pm. No confirmation yet as to whether the game is shown on TV (though with the current run of Liverpool games on TV I wouldn’t be surprised).
