Don’t forget Liverpool travel to Gresty Road this afternoon to take on Crewe in the second of the pre-season friendlies and the game is live on Liverpoolfc.tv (if you’ve got an e-season ticket). Craig Bellamy, Mark Gonzalez, Gabriel Paletta and Fabio Aurélio are all expected to play, while the World Cup squad are still likely to sit out this game.

Coverage starts online at 2:50pm and the game kicks off at 3pm. According to Crewe asst. Neil Baker this morning….

“We know Liver pool’s World Cup players won’t be playing, but there will still be some good players on show. It will be good to see Craig Bellamy play and there will be some terrific talent for the supporters.

The game is officially sold out.

    yes it was verry good to see some of the good players playin for liverpool i think it gave crewe less confidence but i think they played the game to a very high standards

    Ah sure even the good players need a preseason run out as well, otherwise they just wouldn’t be good! Credit to Crewe though it was a great game, spirited performance by them in both halves and all the best to them trying to make it back to the Championship this season.
